For Yolanda “Yoyo” Cross-Craig, ultrasound has always been about more than creating images—it’s about people, access, education, and making healthcare feel a little less complicated.

A Tallahassee native and experienced Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Yolanda founded Ultrasound Made Easy in 2019 with a simple vision: create a welcoming, community-based imaging experience where patients could receive high-quality ultrasound services without feeling lost in the traditional healthcare system.

What began as an idea has grown into a stand-alone ultrasound facility serving patients, physicians, fertility programs, healthcare organizations, and community partners throughout North Florida.

Yolanda’s experience spans diagnostic sonography, clinical education, healthcare leadership, program development, and entrepreneurship. In addition to leading Ultrasound Made Easy, she serves as a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Clinical Coordinator and educator, helping prepare the next generation of sonographers for the profession.

Her work also extends into the community through AddUs Incorporated, a nonprofit organization she founded to help expand access to diagnostic imaging, maternal health resources, and healthcare career opportunities for underserved populations.

Through each of these roles, the mission remains remarkably consistent:

Make quality healthcare more accessible. Educate people well. Build stronger pathways into the profession. And treat every person with dignity along the way.
